The building is located above the Primorsky Park of Yalta. It was erected by the architect N.G. Tarasov from the Kerch stone in the Moorish style on the site that was acquired in 1898 by the emir of Bukhara - Seyid Abdul Ahan Khan and laid on it a park, as well as 4 buildings, of which only the palace has survived to this day. The palace was built within four years (1907-1911), becoming the residence of the Emir of Bukhara on the southern coast of Crimea.
The architecture of the two-storey building combines rectangular, faceted and semicircular volumes, porticoes and terraces, loggias and belvederes. The Moorish style of the palace is complemented by the delicate carving of columns with exquisite capitals, balustrades, as well as the framing of horseshoe-shaped windows and a jagged parapet above the cornice.
At present, the building of the palace houses the library of the Yalta sanatorium.
