“On the edge of an abyss, near a mountain stream, in the evening fog, the outlines of a horse are shown,” N. Roerich wrote. - The rider is not visible. Something unusual sparkles on the saddle. Could it be a horse lost by a caravan? Or maybe he threw the rider while jumping over the abyss? Perhaps this horse, weakened, was thrown on the way and now, rested, he is looking for the owner? This is how the intellect thinks, but the heart remembers something else. The heart remembers how a lonely horse will descend from the Great Shambhala, from the sacred mountain heights at the predestined hour, and instead of the rider, the Treasure of the world will shine on its saddle: Norbu Rimpoche - Chintamani - Wonderful Stone, Savior of the World. Isn't it time? Doesn't a lonely horse bring us the Treasure of the World? " In the painting by N.K. Roerich, a white horse descending from the rocks flaming in the dawn bears on its back the sign of three spheres enveloped in a golden flame. This sign, chosen by Roerich for the Banner of Peace, is one of the most ancient symbols of humanity, it has been known since the Neolithic era. This sign is found in a wide variety of cultures; in many philosophical systems special significance is attached to it: in Christianity it is the Trinity, and in Buddhism it is Triratna, that is, Buddha, his Teachings and his Community.
