Mudu

Under the emperors of Minsk, the picturesque village of Mudu played the role of an "elite cottage village" where prosperous officials and people of art liked to settle in the open.
In the northwestern part of the Old City, there is a garden of the Yan family from the Ming dynasty.
A former judge lived here. The garden, with ordinary ponds and artificial rocks, was divided into five sections, each dedicated to a specific season. Flowers and trees have been carefully chosen to create the right mood.
In the central part of Shantangjie Street, Mudu City, is the Ancient Pine Garden, named after the mighty coniferous tree. Garden pavilions were famous for their masterly carvings.
