On the territory of Mesopotamia, about six thousand years ago, there was a mysterious civilization - Ancient Sumer.
The Sumerian civilization spread over the territory of Mesopotamia, now it is the territory of the state of Iraq
It was the Sumerian civilization that laid the foundation for the development of other, more known cultures, such as Assyria, the Babylonian kingdom, the Phoenicians.
Perhaps nothing strikes the scientific world so much as the knowledge that the Sumerians possessed.
Hundreds of tablets that have been found during excavations indicate that the ancient Sumerians knew everything about space, and with amazing accuracy.
They knew how to calculate the rotation of stars using a heliocentric model of the universe. During the excavation, the Sumerian solar system was found, which accurately indicated the location of all the planets. Between Mars and Jupiter, the Sumerians have another planet. The Sumerians named it Nibiru. According to their calculations, Nibiru can cross the solar system only once every 3600 years, and superintelligent beings inhabit the planet. Many Sumerian texts say that their civilization began precisely with the settlers who flew from Nibiru.
It was in the Sumerians that they were the first to build schools and medical institutions, they invented and introduced taxes, medicine and institutions. A parliament was formed, historians began to conduct their activities, and the first money and legislation were invented. It was the Sumerians who introduced statutes to protect workers and the unemployed, and also a coalition of judges appeared. Medicine was at a high level of development: special medical sections were created, reference books contained terms, operations and hygiene skills. Scientists managed to decipher the records of the cataract surgery.
The solar-lunar calendar was invented by the Sumerians. Also, it was the Sumerians who invented the six-decimal number system, which allowed multiplying millions of numbers, counting fractions, and finding the root. The fact that now we divide the day into 24 hours, a minute into 60 seconds, a year into 12 months - all this is the Sumerian voice of antiquity.
The Sumerian civilization is still the most mysterious, their language, culture and knowledge in different scientific fields are unique and not similar to others.
