Mute swan

The mute swan is a bird from the duck family. The mute swan is native to northern Europe and Asia. Quite rare everywhere. The main food is aquatic plants and small animals (molluscs) in them. On land, the swan feeds on grass and cereals. You should not feed mute swans with bread, they often get sick from it and subsequently die. Mute easily takes root in captivity and semi-involuntarily, often kept in water bodies of city parks, gardens, and various sanatoriums as an ornamental bird.
