Eshsoltia is a genus of plants in the Poppy family, which includes about ten species that are common in western North America. The genus is named after the Russian traveler and naturalist (doctor, botanist, zoologist) Johann Friedrich von Eschscholz (1793-1831).
Escholzia belongs to the type of plants that will grow easily even with the lazy and inexperienced amateur grower. Unpretentious and at the same time romantic in their field beauty of yellow poppies.
