Birman - Burmese cat
In ancient times, cats of a similar breed were found in Burma, where they were kept only in the homes of the rich or in monasteries and were revered as sacred animals. Each of them had her own servant, who was severely punished if he did not look after her properly - with knowledge and love.
These cats, according to legend, were kept in the Lao Tsun temple, where the image of the golden goddess was located. One of the cats, Singh, became especially attached to the abbot of the Man-Ha temple. During the raid on the temple, Man-Ha was killed while praying. When he was lying dead, the cat Singh approached and touched him, after which he suddenly changed beyond recognition. His yellow eyes turned blue, like a goddess's, and his fur took on a golden hue. The muzzle, tail and legs turned brown. But the paws themselves, which touched the priest, acquired white stockings, which symbolized virtue.
Birman is a feline masterpiece. Original Roman nose and unique gloves. There are special requirements for gloves. Strictly symmetrical, of a definite height and flawlessly pure white.
This unique distinction is not the only one. The main asset of Sacred Burma is its charm and special character. They are sociable, playful, intelligent and curious. They are always there, look into the eyes and melt with pleasure when they are praised. They get along well with children and get along well with other animals. They become real family members, participating in all events and not allowing conflicts.
