New Tin Soldier

Since childhood, this fairy tale haunted me. Well, I could not believe that some devil from a snuffbox can defeat a soldier. Albeit tin, albeit with one leg.

Here is my rethinking of this tale. The soldier has a steampunk prosthetic leg (and an arm, which he also managed to lose somewhere). And a dynamite stick is attached to the box. The fuse is already lit. Exactly at midnight there will be an explosion.

And so he got to the dancer's castle and knelt down to tell her about his feelings.

It seems to me that this is much more interesting ...
