Geneva

The second largest city in Switzerland, located in the south-west of the country on the border with France on the shores of Lake Geneva at the confluence of the Rhone River. Geneva is a major financial center, as well as the headquarters of large international organizations such as the UN, Red Cross, WTO and others. Not far from Geneva, at the CERN Science Center, a large particle accelerator has been built, which is the largest experimental facility in the world.
