Kiribati flag

Republic of Kiribati. A republic consisting of three groups of islands in the east-central Pacific Ocean.
State flag and sea flag. Officially raised on July 12, 1979. The proportions of the flag are 1: 2.
Before us is the heraldic banner of Kiribati. The frigate bird on it is a symbol of power, freedom and traditional dances. The rising sun marks the equator, which within Kiribati is over 4,000 km long. The white and blue waves symbolize the Pacific Ocean, of which about 5 million square kilometers belong to Kiribati.
