The flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis is a green-red rectangular cloth, divided diagonally by a black and yellow stripe, on which are two five-pointed white stars.
The two stars represent hope and freedom, while the black one symbolizes the African heritage of the bulk of the population. Green represents the fertility of the land, yellow represents constant sunshine, and red symbolizes the struggle to end slavery and colonialism.
