The oldest bridge in the city, built in 1345 and retaining its appearance to this day. Initially, it housed butcher shops, and nowadays jewelry and souvenir shops.
One of the sections of the Vasari Corridor, a covered gallery connecting Palazzo Vecchio with Palazzo Pitti, runs over the bridge.
