Tangerines

Makoto Muramatsu was born in Fujieda, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1947. Since childhood, he was fond of drawing, drawing everything that came to his hand, mostly animals that walked near his house. This Japanese animal painter is known all over the world for cats, dogs, chickens and even monkeys. As the people say there: "If there is no cat in the house, then there is emptiness in the house" - probably this is exactly what the Japanese artist Makoto Muramatsu thought when drawing such cute and positive animals.
