Artist Yuri Shevchuk was born in 1961 in Ukraine in the city of Kiev. He painted from an early age. Educated at the Kiev Art School, and then at the Kiev Academy of Architecture. Since 1993 he has been living in Prague. His career as an artist is strongly associated with this city. He is constantly looking for some new ideas and has developed his own style. Clarity and harmony, exquisite colors, delightful lines - these words can describe the work of Yuri Shevchuk. He is one of the best artists living in the Czech Republic.
