From creation it just so happened -
In poetry and in life, all are roads apart.
Who is high, who strives for the depth,
But most turn sideways

Wisdom often sins with simplicity
And blindly reaches out for beauty
Often the beauty of the advice of the wise
The saint does not hear in his simplicity.

One fool who has comprehended all sciences, Said that man was born for torment.
And all the fools repeated it
And fools have sons and grandchildren.
And life became a curse for everyone, Though you should not die out of grief, so out of boredom.
And the ears of people lengthened,
The look faded and the hands dropped.

Only a fool or a villain counts
That grief makes people better.
Such an opinion is similar to delusion,
That the old knife is sharper from rust,
That from rains on a rainy day in autumn The water in the stream is cleaner and brighter.

How should you live: happily or honestly?
An abyss gapes between happiness and goodness.
Few of us find a bridge
Others perish on the steep path.

***
Everything passes: both joys and passions,
To return the past is not in our power.
But if the past is returned to us,
Former happiness will not become happiness again!

***
Penetrate into the essence of every phenomenon
And only then judge him.
Do not be the servant of someone else's opinion
Have your own judgment about everything.

***
The abuse and blasphemy of people - everything is insignificant,
Pass by, remember friends,
That neither blasphemy nor abuse is impossible
That to desecrate that cannot be desecrated.

So sing songs, as if the day is far away
In which death will touch your cheeks,
But live like this, but love like that
Death will cross your threshold today

If you want to know the world that is hidden in the shadows,
Look into your own heart.
And if you want to know yourself,
Look, don't cover yourself up.
