German driver of the Formula 1 racing series as part of the Williams and Mercedes-Benz teams. Niko is the son of 1982 Formula 1 World Champion Keke Rosberg. Born June 27, 1985 in Wiesbaden.
Debut in Formula 1 took place in
Bahrain in 2006 as part of the Williams team.
The debut season was a disappointment for him and for the entire Williams team. In 2007 Rosberg finished seven times in points, a total of 9th place.
On July 13, 2008 he took part in Moscow City Racing.
On October 29, 2009, Rosberg announced his retirement from Williams at the end of the season.
