Kamui Kobayashi

Japanese race car driver, born September 13, 1986 in Amagasaki.
Kamui started his racing career in 1996, having tried his hand at karting competitions. In 2002, Kobayashi made his debut in formula-type racing, entering the start of the Japanese Formula Toyota championship.
In Fomula 1, he made his debut in Brazil in 2009 with the Toyota team.
In 2010 he moves to Sauber Ferrari. Where he spent 3 seasons, but he could not rise above 12th place.
On the eve of the 2013 season, Sauber refused Kobayashi's services. Kamui tried to find himself a place in other teams, but in the end he only agreed with Ferrari to participate in their semi-factory team in endurance races. In June, piloting a Ferrari 458 Italia with Olivier Beretta and Tony Wilander, the Japanese made his debut in the 24-hour marathon at the Sarta circuit. The international crew finished fifth in their class.
