Jerome D'Ambrosio

Belgian racing driver, born December 27, 1985 in Etterbeck.
D'Ambrosio began his karting performances by winning the Junior Monaco Kart Cup (KF3) in 2000. In 2003 Jerome won the Belgian Formula Renault. Also in 2003, the Belgian competed in Germany-based Formula König and finished fourth in the championship.In 2004 he switched to the two-liter formulas, with appearances in the French series in 2004, the Italian series in 2005 and the Eurocup the same year. In 2006 he moved to the highest level of the Renault series - the Renault World Series.
In 2005 D'Ambrosio took part in the junior class of the Italian Formula 3000, combining participation with performances in the Renault World Series.
In 2007 Jerome took part in the debut season of the International Formula Master series, he won five races, earned exactly 100 points and became the first champion in history.
In January 2011, the driver signed a contract with the Marussia Virgin Racing team to compete in Formula 1 as the main driver. The debut took place in
Bahrain 2011.
He spent 2013 in the Lotus F1 Team. 13th place, became the best in a driver's career; before that, he finished twice in 14th position, speaking for Marussia Virgin
