The term "Victorian fashion" can be used to describe the clothing of the Victorian era, replete with lace, ruffles, flowing silhouettes. Styles popular during the time of Queen Victoria emphasized the grace and sophistication of this era, which was considered the pinnacle of civilization, and a distance from all the rough and wild in human nature.
