Girl and chickens

Chickens in the yard -
Yellow lumps
Cling to mom's wings
Grandma's little quip.

The world is somehow strange -
New and dangerous
Was it in the basket
Both warm and clear.

Grandmother fed
Delicious diet
And under a bright lamp
It was like summer.

Even a mustache cat
He purred them loudly,
Though they drove away
Red aside.

Here everything is different;
True, it's summer too,
Mom is also near,
There is also a lot of light.

There is no comfort at all
Warm corners
Huddle closer to mom
Yellow lumps.
