Elizabeth I (September 7, 1533 - March 24, 1603), Queen of England and Queen of Ireland from November 17, 1558, the last of the Tudor dynasty. Youngest daughter of King Henry VIII of England and his second wife Anne Boleyn. Queen Elizabeth I is considered the most prominent monarch in English history. Her reign is characterized by economic growth and the formation of England as the first among all the sea powers in the world.
Under her, the positions of absolutism were strengthened, the Anglican Church was restored, the Spanish Invincible Armada was defeated, and the colonization of Ireland was widely carried out. The forty-five-year reign of Elizabeth I is considered the heyday of English absolutism and the "golden age" of Renaissance culture in the country.
