This hot spring is the largest in the United States and the third largest in the world. Located in Yellowstone National Park. The bright colors of the spring are the result of the vital activity of pigmented bacteria that exist along the edges of the spring with mineral-rich water. The color of bacteria changes from green to red. The center of the spring is sterile due to the high temperature of the water. The dimensions of the spring are about 75 by 91 m, the depth is 49 m.
