The future artist was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma (USA). From early childhood, Jim Daly felt that he would become an artist. He was inspired by the work of Norman Rockwell. After graduating from art college in Los Angeles, Jim Daly completely went into painting.
For a while, Daly tried himself as a teacher at Scottsdale School, Arizona.
He has toured the US and Canada for Millpond Press, giving lectures and workshops about his art, with children at the center of his work.
The artist currently lives in Oregon (USA).
