Blooming Shibazakura Hill in Hitsuzhiyama Park, Japan

In early spring, Hitsujiyama Park attracts visitors from all over the country and even overseas. At this time, a wonderful, incredibly beautiful sight begins here - the bloom of the so-called herbal cherry blossom - the Shibazakura flower (shiba-zakura). In the fields of this park, there are about 9 species of this flower, a relative of the more famous phlox (Phlox subulata), in total there are more than 200,000 bushes of these flowers. Blooming plants of all shades of pink cover the park with a lush carpet, delighting the eyes of visitors.
