Wallace Gallery

The Wallace Collection is an art museum in central London (Westminster administrative district, Marylebone quarter), world famous for a rare selection of works of fine and decorative art of the XIV-XIX centuries, including significant collections of French painting of the XVIII century, furniture of the era Louis XV, weapons and armor of European and Oriental origin, Sevres porcelain, golden boxes, miniatures, sculpture, majolica, bronze items, glass, Limoges enamel and paintings by "old masters" (Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens, van Dyck, Peter de Hooch , Teniers Jr., Frans Hals, Murillo, Velazquez, Domenichino, Chima da Conegliano, Bernardo Daddy, Reni, Rosa, Jan Steen, Albert Kuyp), as well as Canaletto, Francois Boucher, Thomas Gainsborough, Joshua Reynolds, Antoine Guardi and others, housed in 25 galleries (total about 5500 items).
