Lord of Chenqing

Sixteen years ago, five great clans - Gusu Lan, Yunmen Jiang, Qinghe Nie, Qishan Wen and Lanling Jin - jointly ruled the world of the Celestial Empire, dividing their spheres of influence equally. The head of the Qishan Wen clan decided to rise above everyone, exalting his clan, which brought a lot of troubles to the other four clans.
The open and affable son of an old friend of the head of the Jiang clan, Wei Wuxian, meets the well-known disciple of the Gusu Lan clan, Lan Wangji, whom he considers a friend. Two young men accidentally discover the secret that the Gusu Lan clan has been keeping all this time.
They are trying to fulfill the last will of the deceased, while saving the whole world from the danger that threatens him. However, it turns out that behind everything lies Wen Ruhan - the head of the Wen clan. The rest of the clans, not wanting to endure this, join forces in the war against the Wen clan. After destroying the enemy, Wei Wuxian is declared a universal enemy, as he protects the innocent members of the Wen clan. In the end, succumbing to a dastardly trick, Wei Wuxian perpetrates a terrible tragedy, and he himself disappears.
Sixteen years later, the long-lost Wei Wuxian reappears in Mo Village, where he meets an old friend, Lan Wangji.
