House-Museum of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, where he spent the last years of his life. Having moved from Moscow to Crimea for health reasons, at the end of 1898, the writer bought a piece of land in Yalta. A garden was laid out on the site and a house was built according to the project of the architect L. N. Shapovalov. Famous works were written in this house: the plays "Three Sisters" and "The Cherry Orchard", the story "In the Ravine", stories "The Lady with the Dog", "Bishop", "On Christmas Day" and "The Bride". The name "Belaya Dacha" was given to it by local residents because of the color of the walls.
