Ayya (Greek Άγια, Crimean Tat. Ayya, Ayya) is a cape on the southern coast of Crimea, southeast of Balaklava, a 13 km long projection of the coast. The territory is subordinated to the Balaklava region of Sevastopol. Cape Aya borders the southern coast of Crimea from the west. The name of the cape comes from the Greek word "ayos" (άγιος - saint, άγια - saint). It is believed that the Greeks considered these places holy and buried their ancestors here.
