Summer is leaving slowly -
The last days are burning out
It's all sad, of course
That the leaves are already flying around ...
That the sun is getting lower and lower
That it rains relentlessly
And it seems: autumn is getting closer,
Which, in general, is also not strange.
And the wind, saying goodbye to nature,
With fallen forests
With endless plain freedom
With a road drenched in tears ...
That the sky has been saving all summer -
Flies across the native land ...
Where does all this go?
Will it return and how soon?
And autumn, like sunset time,
Carrying only sadness and sorrow
Will come, taking away the irrevocable,
Beautiful summer ...
It's a pity…
