During the centuries-old history of ruling Russia, the house of the Romanovs managed to collect an impressive collection of luxurious jewelry, but few jewelry survived the revolution. Only a small fraction of the treasures of the House of Romanovs have survived in museums to this day, the rest of the jewelry was melted down or sold for a pittance to the West
