Marine spaces

The artist Valery Tsenov graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. In his work he combines elements of modern and ancient Mediterranean art. His paintings are conceived as bright mosaics: several layers of space and time. They represent unique emotional matrices that help us to rediscover the vital but somehow forgotten sources of our European culture. The canvases have a rich and varied texture and a complex plastic expression. The combination of many different elements, symbols, references to historical and mythological images and plots creates a fabulous reality that is characteristic of Valery Tsenov's work.
