In the Nikolo-Peshnoshsky monastery

Nikolo-Peshnoshsky Monastery is a male monastery of the Moscow Regional Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, located in the Dmitrovsky District of the Moscow Region, in the village of Lugovoy on the Yakhroma River.
Founded in 1361 by the student of Sergius of Radonezh Methodius. In the 16th century, during the general prosperity of the Dmitrov lands, he became rich selling bread with Belozersk; At the same time, stone construction began in the monastery, so that by the 17th century there were no longer any wooden buildings left in it.
