The first guava trees grew exclusively in the countries of Central and South America. Over time, the region of its cultivation has expanded to Southeast Asia. Thailand is no exception. Thai people call this fruit farang, and today it is one of the most popular plants in the country. Looking at the guava, many find in it a lot in common with apple, green lemon and pear. But this applies exclusively to the appearance, but the taste is very difficult to compare with any of the fruits we are familiar with. Guava is quite an interesting and at the same time mysterious fruit. It is very difficult to accurately describe its taste. Slightly soft and ripe fruits will always be considered the most delicious. Their taste can be compared to raspberries with a slight aftertaste of pine needles, which arises from the skin.
The most common type of guava is strawberry. Here its taste intertwines pineapple and strawberry.
