The durian fruit is one of the twenty most fantastic edible fruits in the world. The culture is especially popular in tropical regions. The homeland of the plant is called Southeast Asia. No one can definitely explain what durian smells like. The smell of the plant is very strong and, according to the description, resembles a combination of fried and rotten onions, sulfur, sewage, caramel and honey. Durian is banned from transport, hotels and public places in many countries because of its unpleasant stench.
