Khajuraho is the former capital of the medieval state of Chandela (IX-XIII centuries) in Central India (Madhya Pradesh state), on the territory of which a group of ancient temples has survived [1], now it is a tourist village. Since 1986, Khajuraho has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
