Akshardham Temple Delhi

The rich and complex in terms of architecture, the Akshardham temple complex was built relatively recently, in 2005. I can’t believe it, because its extraordinary architecture emanates from deep antiquity. It was built by 7 thousand people over 5 years. The main material is sandstone, and the interior rooms are carved from white marble. Mandir (temple in Hindu) stands on 234 pillars decorated with the finest hand carvings. It has 9 huge domes and 20 spiers. There are about 20 thousand statues of various spiritual followers of Hinduism. On the walls outside the temple there are bas-reliefs and high-reliefs with scenes from parables and holy scriptures. On the domes, vaults, and pillars - stories about saints, about devotion to the teachings of Narayana, the life of Nilkantha. Inside the temple, under the central dome, there is a 3-meter gold statue of Nilkantha-Narayana. On both sides of him are the followers of his teachings.
