Marfino is a noble estate near Moscow, located 25 km from the Moscow Ring Road, in the village of the same name in the Mytishchi district of the Fedoskinskoye rural settlement, on the high bank of the Ucha river. In the XVIII-XX centuries it belonged to the Golitsyn, Saltykov, Orlov and Panin. It acquired its characteristic pseudo-Gothic appearance in the middle of the 19th century thanks to the efforts of Countess Sophia Panina and architect Mikhail Bykovsky.
At present, the territory of the estate is occupied by the Marfinsky sanatorium of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
