Városhliget (“city park”, “city grove”) is a park in Budapest near Heroes' Square, a place for walks of Budapest citizens and guests of the Hungarian capital.
On the site of the Varoshliget Park, there were once the hunting grounds of King Matthias, which was a rugged swampy area in the Danube floodplain with poor vegetation.
