January Winter


Petersburg profile is broken:
Fortresses, churches, palaces.
And freedom of the Neva is shackled
An eternal stone ring.

Snow whirlwinds are spinning
Swirling like a light cloud.
Puddles crunch with ice
The ligature is cold

Restless Blizzard
Hid the spiers above.
And it spreads like a cold carpet
On the roads, between the stones.

And the windows shimmer in gold
There, behind the haze, until the morning.
The darkness of the night is split again -
With the light of happiness and goodness
