Over time, silk production spread almost all over the world, but some types of silk products remained the secret of China. One of these arts is silk thread embroidery on silk cloth - "Suzhou embroidery"
This craft has existed in China for over two thousand years. Paintings on national themes made by Suzhou masters have no analogues in the world.
The Suzhou embroidery technique is unique in itself. On the basis of translucent silk, the finest needle with unusually bright silk threads reproduce episodes from the life of fish, birds or animals, amazing compositions of flowers or charming landscapes.
A feature of their talent is that in some unknown way knots of threads are hidden so that both sides are front.
