From time immemorial, Chinese poets dedicated their works to the "pure light" of Qingming, filled with a sense of spring freshness of nature reviving to life and at the same time permeated with noble sorrow for those who left this world.
Chinese poet Du Mu (803 - 852) lived during the Tang Dynasty and is known as the author of over 800 lyric poems and prose.
