Mauritius is rich in attractions. One of them is the most interesting. This place is located in the southwestern part of the island near the village of Chamarel. By and large, it is difficult to call Chamarel sands, since it is not quite sand, but small remains of basalt rocks (not very loose). Scientists explain the phenomenon of color by the fact that volcanic rocks cooled at different temperatures, as well as the presence of iron and aluminum oxides in their composition.
