The Yusupov Palace in Moscow is a pearl of Moscow architecture of the past, a magnificent and interior museum at the present time.
It is not known exactly when the building was built. Historians suggest that it appeared in the late 17th and early 18th centuries and changed many owners.
The house was in the possession of the Yusupov princes since 1727 and belonged to them for almost 200 years, until 1917. In 1925, a treasure was discovered under the front porch of the palace.
After the revolution, the building housed the Museum of Noble Life, then the Military Historical Museum, later the VASKHNIL. In the early 2000s, a large-scale restoration began, and in 2008 the museum was reopened to visitors.
