Museum-Estate of Radishchev

The country's only museum and estate of Alexander Nikolaevich Radishchev
(1749-1802), a Russian prose writer, poet, philosopher, is located in the village of the same name in the Penza region. The manor complex includes: the building of a manor house built in the style of Peter the Great Baroque, the preserved family Church of the Transfiguration with a carved gilded iconostasis and rare frescoes, the building of the former zemstvo school, where the museum's exposition is located.
