Dolls by Alexandra Kukinova. Alexandra Kukinova is an outstanding puppeteer who was one of the first in Russia to revive the long-forgotten craft of the doll artist. Alexandra was born in Moscow, after school she entered the Moscow Art Theater School, where she studied scenography and the art of theatrical costume. Passion for puppetry began as a hobby. Now Alexandra Kukinova is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia - the main artist and founder of the Alexandra company. Author's handmade porcelain dolls are produced both in a single copy and in editions from 3 to 29 pieces in a series. The size of the dolls is about 60 cm. The clothes are sewn as for real people and expensive materials are used - crumpled organza, silk, antique beads, etc. A lot of manual work. All dolls are painted by hand.
