Order of Saint George

The Order of St. George is the highest military award of the Russian Federation, restored after its abolition in 1917. Awarded to senior and senior officers for conducting military operations to defend the Fatherland in the event of an attack by an external enemy, which ended in the complete defeat of the enemy, who became an example of military art, whose exploits serve as an example of valor and courage for all generations of defenders of the Fatherland and who were awarded state awards of the Russian Federation for the distinctions shown in combat.
