Paris, Musée d'Orsay
Paul Signac is a French artist and art writer, yachtsman and snob intellectual.
An admirer of Georges Seurat, but not his follower, he, through the technique of pointillism and abandoning it, finds his style in combinations of contrasting colors, using them as a way of creating light, and the points of pointillism are replaced by strokes.
His paintings are light, light and apolitical.
