"Marinkina" tower is one of the seven surviving towers of the Kolomna Kremlin. Built in 1525-1531
It is believed that the tower got its name from its great prisoner Marina Mnishek, who, according to legend, was imprisoned in this tower in 1614 and died here, or turned into a magpie and flew away through the loophole window.
