Do you remember how we were drawn to warmth
When the autumn boulevards wandered.
And that cafe, by the park, on the corner
And the music and the aroma of vanilla?

This table is on the edge by the window.
It stands, as then, in the old place.
Spring bloomed for us in the fall,
We spent the whole evening together.

A candle, glasses of red wine ...
We spoke less than we were silent
And the old music is full
There was anxiety, passion, and sorrow ...

Years have passed and thousands of worries
We were taken to families and countries,
And everyone thought that a lucky lot
He got into this strange bargaining.

Nothing beckons ahead,
Only the embers remained from the fire.
Now sitting at this table
Another enchanted couple ...
