Belogradchish rocks

Belogradchishkiye Rocks are one of the natural wonders of Bulgaria.
Rains and winds over 200 million years have created incredible rock shapes that stretch 30 kilometers in length and 15 kilometers in width. Some rocks reach 200 meters in height and vary in shades - from red and yellow to gray.
The bizarre shapes of the rocks evoke a flight of fantasy and give birth to many legends.
Many of the rocks near Belogradchik have names. In the central group you can see Adam and Eve, Mushrooms, Student, Bear and Dervish, Lion, Camel, Nun, Horseman, Monks, Goddess Bendida, Rebel Velko and many other stone figures.
